CAMBRIDGE BRANCH NEWS
The Cambridge Branch of the RWTO meets four times a year at the Galt Country Club on Coronation Blvd. in Cambridge. Mix and mingle starts at 11:45 am, luncheons are served at 12:30 followed by a speaker.
For the 2011-2012 year, all the speakers are retired teachers who have pursued their hobbies or volunteer interests since their retirements. Members are encouraged to bring a friend (including non-teachers) to any of the meetings.
The Branch supports two charities, The Bridge Shelter for the homeless and Haven House Women's Crisis Services, through financial donations as well as the collection of health care products, magazines, books, winter hats, socks and mitts.
